What To Do With Golden Idols In Path of Exile 2
In *Path of Exile 2*, the Golden Idols are a unique set of Quest Items that players can collect during Act 3. Unlike typical Quest Items, collecting a Golden Idol won't add a quest to your log, but they are valuable for the gold they can be sold for. There are five Golden Idols to find, and they can be discovered in the ruins of the Vaal civilization, specifically in the areas of Utzaal and Aggorat.
How to Find Golden Idols in Path of Exile 2
After progressing to Act 3 and exploring the ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment, you'll be transported back in time to the Vaal city of Utzaal, known as The Drowned City in the present. This city showcases the Vaal at their peak, but your focus should be on finding the Golden Idols scattered throughout Utzaal and the connected area, Aggorat.
- Golden Idols in Utzaal:
Glorious Idol
Golden Idol
Grand Idol
- Golden Idols in Aggorat:
Exceptional Idol
Elegant Idol
These idols can be found on the ground or on pedestals, often in side rooms within these areas. They do not drop from enemies, so keep an eye out for them as you explore.
What to Do with Golden Idols in PoE 2
Once you've collected a Golden Idol, return to the Ziggurat Encampment to sell it for gold. Not all vendors will accept these items, but Oswald, located on the north side of the encampment, will. When you interact with him and open the Buy & Sell screen, you can sell each idol for a significant amount of gold:
- Golden Idol: 500 Gold
- Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
- Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
- Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
- Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold
If you manage to collect all five Golden Idols, you'll earn a total of 6000 Gold. Since these idols take up inventory space and serve no other purpose, it's wise to return to the encampment to sell them as soon as you find them, freeing up space for further exploration.
