Santa Monica Studio has released comprehensive patch notes, detailing all the new additions and features that come with this celebratory update. The Dark Odyssey Collection brings a stylish array of cosmetics for Kratos, Atreus, and Freya. Players can now adorn Kratos with the Dark Odyssey Armor Set, featuring the Dark Odyssey Breastplate, Bracers, and Belt, while Atreus and Freya get their own unique vestments and frocks. Additionally, the update revamps the appearance of all of Kratos' godly weaponry, including the Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, Draupnir Spear, and a variety of shields, all with a striking black and gold theme inspired by the original God of War games.

A significant new feature introduced in this update is the "Edit Appearance" option, allowing players to customize the look of their armor, weapons, and shields without affecting their abilities and skills.
