Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium: Unveiling the Mystery of Pity Carry-Over
Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?
In Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics from Sunborn, available on PC and mobile, a key question arises: does the pity counter transfer between banners? The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.
Your pity counter accumulates across consecutive limited-time banners. This means pulls on one limited banner contribute to the pity counter for the subsequent limited banner. For instance, during the global launch, pulls on either the Suomi or Ullrid banners simultaneously increased the pity counter for both. Reaching near-pity on one allowed a switch to the other for a boosted chance at the featured character.
This system persists. The pity progress from past limited banners (like Suomi and Ullrid) carries over to future limited banners, as confirmed by Chinese players.
However, a crucial distinction exists: pity does not transfer between limited and standard banners. Progress on the standard banner won't help you get a rate-up character on a limited banner.
While hard pity is reached at 80 pulls, soft pity begins around 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually increase until hard pity is guaranteed at pull 80.
This clarifies the pity system in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
