Genshin Impact Update 5.5: New Volcano Area Added

Enter Genshin Impact's eagerly awaited 5.5 update, set to launch on March 26th, which promises to bring the warmth you crave with its fiery new content.

Dubbed "Day of the Flame's Return," this update introduces the awe-inspiring Great Volcano of Tollan to the region of Natlan. Players will finally be able to explore the Sacred City of Tollan, a marvel built by the ancient Dragonborn, and delve into its depths to unravel the mystery of the Flamelord's Blessing.

But the update isn't just about lava and magma. The final tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, makes its debut alongside the formidable new Saurian, Tatankasaurus. This beast boasts the power and size to crush massive rocks with its sheer bulk, adding a thrilling new challenge to your adventures.

Heating up: While navigating the perilous volcano may seem daunting, you won't have to face it alone. The 5.5 update introduces two new characters to aid you on your journey. Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user, unleashes devastating Electro damage, while Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, enhances attack damage while providing healing to her allies.
