Genshin Impact 5.7 Unveils Skirk and Dahlia

HoYoverse has officially announced the next major update for *Genshin Impact* — Version 5.7, titled "A Space and Time for You". This highly anticipated update is set to go live on June 18th, bringing with it a wealth of new content including exciting character debuts, deep lore progression, a fresh combat mode, and an engaging tactical mini-game designed by the Sumeru Akademiya.

Skirk Arrives in Genshin Impact Version 5.7!

One of the most intriguing additions in this update is Skirk, a mysterious figure closely connected to the Abyss and known as Childe’s elusive mentor. Skirk introduces a unique gameplay experience with her dual fighting styles and a special mechanic called Serpent’s Subtlety, offering players a dynamic and strategic approach to combat.

Joining Skirk is Dahlia, a brand-new 4-star Hydro character who also serves as the Deacon of the Church of Favonius. In the second half, players can look forward to the return of Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, and Emilie.

Version 5.7 continues the narrative from where the Bedtime Story quest left off. The Traveler's bond with their sibling grows stronger as tensions rise in Natlan. The Abyss Order begins its movements, sparking conflict on multiple fronts. Mavuika and her forces prepare for battle while Dainsleif makes a dramatic appearance in a new form, lending aid to the Traveler on the frontlines.

Meanwhile, the Sumeru Akademiya presents a simulated adventure event that blends tactical decision-making with randomized elements. Players will build a team of Companion Pieces and choose between two distinct paths — navigating either the dense rainforest or the vast desert.

Stygian Onslaught – A New Permanent Mode

Genshin Impact Version 5.7 introduces a brand-new permanent mode called Stygian Onslaught. This mode features three rotating bosses and six escalating difficulty tiers, challenging even the most seasoned adventurers. Completing challenges here rewards players with valuable Artifacts and a new item known as Dust of Enlightenment, which allows you to re-roll substats on Level 20 Artifacts — giving your characters a powerful edge.

Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter

In addition to all the action-packed updates, a new slice-of-life series titled Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter arrives in Teyvat. This collection of light-hearted stories showcases heartwarming and humorous moments featuring beloved characters like Thoma, Neuvillette, and Dori, offering a refreshing break from the intensity of battle.
