Gamescom 2024: New Game Reveals and Updates Confirmed for Opening Night Live

Geoff Keighley, host and producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL), has officially announced that the show will feature exciting new game reveals alongside updates on highly anticipated titles.

Gamescom's Opening Night Live (ONL) will showcase several previously announced games including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, MARVEL Rivals, Dune Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, the real excitement lies in the promise of entirely new, unannounced game announcements. The event will be livestreamed on August 20th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.

Beyond the previously announced titles, Keighley confirmed exclusive first gameplay for Don’t Nod’s Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, a new trailer for Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and a fresh game reveal from THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios (creators of Little Nightmares).

Call of Duty fans will be particularly thrilled; the ONL will include a live, first-time playthrough of the Black Ops 6 campaign. While Nintendo's absence is noted, The Pokémon Company will be a significant presence at the event.
