Gamer Spends $100K for Elder Scrolls VI Role
Bethesda, in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic charity, has recently unveiled a groundbreaking initiative that allows fans of The Elder Scrolls series to play a direct role in shaping the upcoming RPG. This unique opportunity has ignited a wave of enthusiasm within the community, leading to a record-breaking auction where a fortunate participant secured a spot in the world of TES VI. The auction ended with a staggering bid of $85,450 from an anonymous fan, who will now have the privilege of having a character in the game modeled either after themselves or designed according to their vision. Both individual gamers and large fan communities, such as UESP and The Imperial Library, took part in the bidding. The latter aimed to honor the role-playing forum contributor Lorrane Pairrel, but their efforts fell short at approximately $60,000.

Amidst this, insiders have been leaking details about TES VI, hinting at exciting new features like advanced shipbuilding mechanics, naval battles, and the return of dragons to the game world. These leaks continue to fuel anticipation and discussion among fans, eager to see how these elements will be integrated into the beloved series.
