Developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung, the creative minds behind the Construction Simulator series, along with publisher astragon, have unveiled their latest project, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. This highly anticipated simulation game harnesses the power of Unreal Engine 5 to deliver an immersive firefighting experience. Scheduled for release in Fall 2025, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, putting players directly in the boots of a firefighter tasked with rescuing trapped citizens, battling various types of fires, including electrical blazes, handling flammable liquids, and managing dangerous scenarios such as grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. Additionally, players can join forces in a four-player cooperative mode, enhancing the team-based dynamics of firefighting.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite aims to set a new standard for realism in gaming with its advanced physics for fire, smoke, and heat. The game promises an elevated level of immersion through the use of officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from leading brands like HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL.
