Fantasma, Dynabytes\' augmented reality adventure, adds new languages to coincide with Gamescom Latam
Dynabytes' Fantasma: A New AR Multiplayer GPS Adventure
Fantasma, a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game from Dynabytes, recently made waves at Gamescom Latam. This exciting title, which slipped under the radar for some, is now gaining wider attention. A recent update significantly expands its reach with the addition of Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support. Further expansion is planned, with German, Italian, and Spanish languages slated for release in the coming months.
But what exactly is Fantasma? Players engage in a global hunt, tracking and battling mischievous Fantasma creatures that plague the world. The gameplay involves strategically deploying portable electromagnetic fields (think bait, but high-tech!) to lure these paranormal entities.
Once a Fantasma is enticed, the AR battle begins. Players maneuver their phones, aiming and tapping the screen to fire projectiles at the creature until its health depletes. Victorious hunters can then capture their prey in special bottles.
The location-based nature of Fantasma adds another layer of excitement. Fantasmas appear based on your real-world location, encouraging exploration. Sensors can be deployed to expand your detection radius and attract Fantasmas from further distances. Cooperative gameplay is also supported, allowing players to team up for a more social experience.
Fantasma is available now for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases. Download it today and join the hunt! For fans of the AR genre, be sure to check out our list of the best AR games available for iOS.
