Pre-Registration Opens for Aniplex

Following last week’s announcement of a new mobile title based on Capcom's hit series Resident Evil, Aniplex has shared more exciting updates. Their upcoming game, Resident Evil Survival Unit, is now open for pre-registration on Android.

This installment diverges from traditional series entries by combining horror with strategic gameplay. Developed in collaboration with Joycity Corporation, the game is scheduled for a worldwide launch in 2025, covering Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, and several other Asian regions.

Yesterday’s official YouTube premiere showcased the first in-depth gameplay footage. Players will engage in real-time tactical survival rather than navigating dark corridors with scarce ammunition.

Set in a parallel universe that branches off from the main series, the game features an original story. It begins in a sealed hospital where the protagonist awakens after being experimented on by the notorious Umbrella Corporation.

Resident Evil Survival Unit Pre-registration Now Open

Though a precise launch date hasn’t been revealed, you can visit the Google Play Store to pre-register. You can also watch the official trailer in the video below.

Your central base in the game is an expansive mansion where you can decorate, manage resources, and interact with iconic characters like Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine. Here, you’ll also plan missions, develop strategies, and purchase gear from the renowned Weapons Merchant.

Adding to the eerie atmosphere, world-famous artist Yoshitaka Amano has designed a new creature named Mortem. Amano is celebrated for his art that blends dreamlike and nightmarish qualities, a style vividly reflected in this new creation.
