EA Launches Playtest for The Sims Spinoff, City Life Game with Friends

Where Is the City Life Game with Friends Playtest Available?

Electronic Arts, commonly known as EA, is inviting Android users to participate in a limited-time playtest for their latest venture, City Life Game with Friends. This playtest is a part of EA's ambitious The Sims Project Rene and aims to gather valuable feedback on game performance and player interactions.

The playtest is exclusively available for Android devices. To participate, your phone must be running at least Android 12 and have a minimum of 4GB of RAM. However, participation is not open to everyone, as EA has set specific regional restrictions.

The playtest will run until April 4th, 2025, with different end times based on your region: 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. After this date, the game will no longer be accessible, and you will need to uninstall it from your device.

It's important to note that this playtest is not a full version of the game nor a definitive preview of the final product. Rather, it provides a glimpse into the direction EA might be taking with Project Rene. The playtest suggests that EA is experimenting with various concepts and ideas to refine the gaming experience.
