Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mutt Location

While there's an entire side quest dedicated to finding Mutt in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you can save time with this direct approach. Mutt is located near a wolf cave, southwest of the Nomads’ Camp and just east of the bathing spot at the river. Below is a screenshot to guide you to his location:

The most efficient way to reach Mutt is by fast traveling to the Nomads’ Camp, then heading southwest into the forest. This route should lead you directly to the top of the cave. As you approach, listen for Mutt's whines, which will guide you to the clearing near the cave entrance where Mutt and a few wolves await.

Once you get close enough, a cutscene will trigger, introducing you to Mutt and the wolves. You'll also receive a tutorial on how to command Mutt in combat. At this point, you have the option to either fight the wolves or flee. Fighting them can be beneficial as it helps you level up your skills, and wolves in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* are manageable opponents.

After handling the wolves, Mutt will be at your command. You can interact with him by holding L1 while looking at him, allowing you to feed him or send him back to your home.

Finding Mutt During the Invaders Side Quest

It's worth noting that you might encounter the wolf cave during the Invaders side quest if you choose to interact with the Cumans. After getting drunk with them, Henry follows Vasko up a hill to fetch more liquor, leading directly to the cave. This triggers the cutscene with Mutt and the wolves, but you'll have to deal with them while intoxicated.

For the best outcome, it's advisable to find and rescue Mutt during the day before progressing further with the Invaders quest. Attempting to manage the wolves while drunk and in the dark can be extremely challenging, and fleeing might result in a fatal fall due to poor visibility.

That's how you can find Mutt in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
