No Battle Pass, Meaningful Rewards

Firewalk Studios opted against a battle pass system, prioritizing a rewarding core experience. Progressing through the game, leveling up characters, and completing objectives will unlock substantial rewards. This decision prioritizes a robust base game experience over a potentially divisive monetization method.

Season 1: The Tempest (October 2024)

Concord's first season, "The Tempest," arrives in October, featuring:

• A new playable Freegunner character.
• A fresh map.
• New Freegunner Variants.
• Expanded cosmetics and rewards.
• Weekly Cinematic Vignettes enriching the Northstar crew storyline.
• An in-game store offering purely cosmetic items, ensuring fair play.

Season 2 and Beyond (January 2025)

Season 2 is planned for January 2025, promising continued seasonal content throughout Concord's first year. The developers are committed to a steady stream of new characters, maps, modes, stories, and features.

Gameplay Strategy and the Crew Builder System

Concord’s team-building mechanic, the “Crew Builder,” allows for unique team compositions. Players can select five Freegunners, with the option to include up to three copies of a Freegunner’s Variants. This encourages diverse team setups, leveraging the six distinct Freegunner roles (Anchor, Breacher, Haunt, Ranger, Tactician, and Warden) to unlock Crew Bonuses enhancing gameplay. Unlike traditional hero shooter roles, Concord's Freegunners are designed for high damage output and effective combat. Strategic role selection is key to maximizing team performance.
