The movie, announced back in December 2023, serves as a direct sequel to the acclaimed MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story centers around Denji, a young boy given a second chance at life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This pact grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc introduces the character Reze, a key figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film sees the return of the entire voice cast from the anime series, ensuring a seamless continuation of the beloved narrative.
