Surprised by the price? It's indeed more affordable than many expected, thanks in part to the unique distribution method of the physical copy. Instead of a traditional game disk, you'll receive a "game-key card."
Note: This is a Game-Key Card
Some games for the Nintendo Switch 2 come on cards that contain the full game data, but Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster uses a game-key card. This card looks similar to a Switch 2 cartridge but doesn't hold the game itself. To play, you'll need to insert the card into your Switch 2 and download the 11GB game from the eShop.
The good news is, you can still lend the game to a friend or sell it, just as you would with a traditional cartridge. Remember, to enjoy the game, you'll need to insert the game-key card into your console.
What is Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster?
Originally released on the 3DS, Bravely Default is a throwback RPG featuring turn-based combat and a quest to find four crystals. The game's standout feature is its innovative combat system, allowing players to save turns for multiple actions in one go. It also boasts a deep job system, enabling you to assign new abilities to your party members. This HD remaster retains all these beloved features and adds new enhancements. You can now fast forward not only through battles but also through cut scenes. The encounter rate settings remain customizable, letting you decide how often you face enemies. Additionally, there's an online mode and new minigames to explore.
