Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as the developers at Mecha Weka unveil their most significant update yet, the 'Trans Edition.' This update promises to enrich the game with an abundance of new single-player and multiplayer content.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, adding fresh firepower to the game. Alongside them, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, enhancing strategic gameplay options.

Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they now boast new customization options with three innovative bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing players to personalize their fleets like never before.

In skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the battle dynamics. PvP matches have been enhanced with a countdown at the start, and aircraft trails now match player colors for a more immersive experience.

Balancing changes have been implemented across the board. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate, now increased from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health, which has risen from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret’s damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, although its range has been reduced from 19 to 16.

Visually, Battlecruisers has stepped up its game with underwater transparency, allowing players to revel in the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea now features enhanced shading, and cruiser and ship deaths have been made more visually striking.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this tradition by introducing more side quests and a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, adding layers of intrigue and adventure.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is populated solely by robots engaged in construction and wage warfare. Players take control of their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to navigate a perilous landscape filled with formidable enemies.
