"Battle Crush Reveals EOS Plans Post-Early Access"
NCSoft has recently announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer MOBA game, Battle Crush, which comes as a shock to many since the game never reached its full, polished release. After conducting a global test in August 2023 and launching an early access version in June 2024, the game is set to wind down just a few months later.
When is the Battle Crush EOS?
The end of service for Battle Crush is scheduled for November 29th, 2024. The in-game shop has already ceased selling items, but players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for refunds. Android and Steam users can initiate their refund requests starting from December 2nd, 2024, until January 2025. Make sure to download any content you wish to keep by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible after that date.
The official Battle Crush website will remain active until May 30th, 2025, providing a resource for any last-minute support. The game's social media accounts and Discord server will be shut down on January 31st, 2025.
Does it Surprise You?
The announcement of the EOS for Battle Crush has undoubtedly been a tough pill to swallow for its dedicated player base. The game's journey was marked by challenges, particularly in terms of gameplay. While Battle Crush offered an enjoyable experience, it struggled with clunky mechanics and pacing issues that prevented it from achieving the desired level of polish and finesse, ultimately leading to its EOS.
If you're interested in experiencing Battle Crush before its final shutdown, you can still find it on the Google Play Store. Alternatively, keep an eye out for our upcoming coverage on the Autumn Season, which promises exciting story-driven quests in Black Desert Mobile.
