Applin and Dynamax Entei to Debut in Pokémon Go This Month

Two exciting events are coming to Pokémon Go this month, introducing Pokémon from the Galar region and bringing unique gameplay experiences. Whether you're drawn to the charm of Applin or the power of Dynamax Entei, there's plenty to enjoy.

Sweet Discoveries runs from April 24th to 29th, marking the debut of the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple, or Sweet Apples for Appletun. You can find apples randomly in the wild, particularly near Mossy Lures, which might also trigger Applin encounters.

During the event, you'll encounter wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will offer chances to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, will reward you with Sweet and Tart Apples. Opting for the paid version provides extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional Applin encounters.

Be sure to check out the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and participate in PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. If you prefer raw power, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend from April 26th to 27th, where Dynamax Entei makes its fiery debut. You might even encounter a Shiny Entei if luck is on your side.
