The new Anker power bank features a 25,000mAh battery capacity, which is the second largest we've seen from Anker in a compact form factor. How much power can it provide to your gaming handheld PCs? With a 25,000mAh battery, that translates to a 95Whr capacity. Assuming an 80% power efficiency rating, typical for power banks, you get about 76Whr of usable charge. This means the power bank can charge a Steam Deck or ROG Ally (40Whr) from empty to full twice, an Asus ROG Ally X (80Whr) once, and a Nintendo Switch (16Whr) about 4.75 times.
The Anker power bank includes one USB Type-C port and one USB Type-A port. Additionally, it comes with two built-in USB Type-C cables: one retractable cable that extends up to 2.3 feet, and a fixed 1-foot cable that also serves as a lanyard when not in use. Each USB Type-C port supports up to 100W of Power Delivery, with a total maximum output of 165W. This ensures that all three USB outputs can charge any gaming handheld PC at its fastest rate, including the Asus ROG Ally X, which supports up to 100W of fast charging.
A feature familiar to Anker's premium power banks is the digital LCD display, which provides a wealth of information including remaining battery capacity, current charging rate, input/output wattage, battery temperature, battery health, charge cycle count, and more.
TSA-Approved
According to TSA regulations, power banks must be under 100Whr in capacity to be carried in your carry-on luggage (check-in is not permitted under any circumstances). This Anker power bank, rated at 95Whr, should pass TSA checks without issues, though its size might prompt a closer look.
