Amazon Slashes Prices on GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PCs

Author : Hannah May 19,2025

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card hit the market in late February with an initial price tag of $749.99. However, snagging one at that price has proven to be a challenge. As with the entire Blackwell lineup, both individual sellers and manufacturers have jumped on the bandwagon, inflating prices. You're likely to struggle to find a 5070 Ti for less than $1,000.

Fortunately, there's a smart workaround to dodge these price hikes: opt for a prebuilt gaming PC. Currently, Amazon is offering CyberpowerPC RTX 5070 Ti gaming desktops starting at $2,069.99. This is a reasonable deal, especially considering the RTX 5070 Ti's performance is nearly on par with the RTX 4080 Super, even without factoring in DLSS 4. For comparison, the best deal I've found on an RTX 4080 Super gaming PC is at HP for $2,299.99. Unless you have a strong brand preference, going for one of these CyberpowerPC options might be the smarter choice.

My top pick from the lineup is the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme gaming PC, which features an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU paired with an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. In her review, Jackie Thomas highlighted that "the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is exceptionally powerful in games, making it a more straightforward recommendation compared to other recent processors like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. If you're building a rig with a powerful graphics card, the 9800X3D is your best bet for maximum performance."

Among the Blackwell cards released to date, the RTX 5070 Ti stands out as the best value option. It goes head-to-head with the RTX 4080 Super and even outshines the RTX 5080, which is only 10%-15% faster yet costs 33% more. This GPU can deliver high framerates in nearly all games, even at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. If you're considering using this card for AI tasks, the RTX 5070 Ti could be a better investment than the RTX 50870, as both come equipped with the same 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"Priced at $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the go-to 4K graphics card for most users, offering significantly better value than the RTX 5080 or 5090. Throughout my testing, this GPU excelled at 4K, coming close to the performance of much pricier cards, and that's before considering multi-frame generation, which will boost the RTX 5070 Ti's ability to achieve extremely high framerates, though with a slight increase in latency."

HP is currently offering its premium HP Omen 45L gaming PC, equipped with a 14th-gen Intel Core i7-14700K CPU and GeForce RTX 4080 Super GPU, for just $2,299.99 after a $700 instant discount. This is one of HP's most powerful gaming PCs, capable of running any game at up to 4K resolution. Its performance is nearly identical to the new RTX 5070 Ti GPU, though it's about 10% less powerful than the RTX 5080 GPU, and it features the same amount of VRAM, albeit using GDDR6 instead of GDDR7.
