Auction Bridge and International Bridge (IB) represent a significant stage in the evolution of bridge, emerging from bridge whist and preceding contract bridge. While sharing similarities with contract bridge in gameplay and rules, Auction Bridge & IB features key distinctions in scoring. Unlike contract bridge, there's no vulnerability concept, and trick, bonus, and penalty scoring systems differ considerably.
Trump selection, while bearing resemblance to contract bridge, is less intricate. The initial trump selection rests with the dealer, who must commit to winning at least the odd trick in a chosen trump suit or at no-trump. The bidding prioritizes point value (excluding doubles) over trick count; for instance, 3 Spades (27 points) surpasses 4 Clubs (24 points).
Trick scoring beyond six is as follows:
- No-trump: 10 points
- Spades: 9 points
- Hearts: 8 points
- Diamonds: 7 points
- Clubs: 6 points
A game totals 30 points.

A bit confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was enjoyable. Could use a better tutorial.
Buen juego de cartas. Es un poco complicado al principio, pero una vez que lo entiendes, es muy divertido.
Jeu assez complexe, manque d'explications claires. Décevant pour un débutant.
