Sunday School Lessons

This app provides audio-visual Bible lessons designed for evangelism and basic Bible teaching in Sunday schools. Based on lessons published by the AIC Sunday School Committee, Juba, Southern Sudan, and adapted for broader use by Global Recordings Network Australia with permission from the Africa Inland Church, Sudan, these lessons are perfectly paired with Global Recordings Network's audio-visual picture books, also available on the 5fish app. Originally created to support young Sunday School teachers, these lessons utilize visuals as a crucial teaching aid.

Each lesson is designed for approximately twenty minutes. The app focuses solely on the lesson content; teachers are encouraged to plan additional Sunday School activities such as singing, prayer, Bible reading, and quizzes. We recommend concluding each lesson with a short prayer and song related to the teaching. The lessons cater to a broad age range, from 7 to 12 years old.

Initially, lessons were kept concise for ease of teacher preparation. While some have been expanded, they provide a brief yet comprehensive framework for teachers to elaborate upon. Each lesson's aim is clearly stated, guiding the teaching focus. To ensure suitability for children, each lesson emphasizes one or two key truths about God, gradually building a more complete understanding. The lesson is intended as a guide for the teacher, not a script to be read verbatim to the class.
