How To Find and Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, ethereal beings offering players helpful items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive, is found only on the new Chapter 6 map in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Ranked modes.

Earth Sprite Locations:

The Earth Sprite spawns in one of approximately two dozen locations, each marked by a solitary lantern (see image below). However, only two Sprites appear per match, necessitating a search across multiple potential spawn points.

Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite:

Locating the Sprite is the challenge. Once found, simply interact with it (use the interact button). This will transfer your currently equipped weapon to the Sprite, completing a Week 1 quest and rewarding you with 25,000 XP. Your lost weapon is replaced with a random Legendary-rarity weapon. While finding the Sprite requires effort, the high-rarity weapon reward makes the search worthwhile.
