War Thunder Announces Firebirds Update with Airpower Triumph

Gaijin Entertainment's upcoming War Thunder update, "Firebirds," promises a thrilling array of new military aircraft and vehicles, launching in early November. This major update boasts a significant roster of additions, including iconic aircraft and powerful ground and naval units.

New Aircraft Soaring into War Thunder

Prepare for the arrival of several highly anticipated aircraft. Among the highlights are the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the versatile Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the powerful F-15E Strike Eagle.

The F-117A Nighthawk marks a first for War Thunder: the inclusion of stealth technology. Its unique design, incorporating sharp angles and radar-absorbing materials, allows it to evade detection. Its legendary performance in Operation Desert Storm, completing over 1,200 sorties without loss, speaks volumes about its effectiveness.

The F-15E Strike Eagle, an enhanced variant of the F-15, delivers unmatched firepower. Boasting a 50% larger payload capacity than its predecessor, and equipped with advanced ground target detection radar, it's a formidable force. Its arsenal includes AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).
