Ubisoft releases Animus Hub, a central location for all Assassin's Creed games
Ubisoft's new Animus Hub, launching alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, centralizes access to the entire Assassin's Creed franchise. This unified platform mirrors the approach used by Battlefield and Call of Duty, providing a single launch point for games like Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe.
Beyond game launching, Animus Hub introduces "Anomalies," special missions within Assassin's Creed Shadows. Completing these Anomalies rewards players with cosmetic items or in-game currency for acquiring new outfits and weapons.
Further enriching the experience, Animus Hub will feature supplementary content, including journals and notes detailing Assassin's Creed's modern-day storyline. This added context deepens players' understanding of the overarching narrative connecting the franchise's various installments.
Assassin's Creed Shadows itself transports players to feudal Japan, immersing them in the political machinations and conflicts of the samurai era. The game is slated for release on March 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
