The game expands upon the universe of the Netflix series, Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, incorporating elements from popular Ubisoft franchises like Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed.

Limited to 10,000 players, access is granted through the purchase of a Citizen ID Card NFT. This card tracks player achievements and rankings, evolving based on in-game performance. Players can buy these Niji Warrior ID cards for approximately $25.63 via Ubisoft's claim page, requiring a crypto wallet. Citizenship can be renounced, allowing players to resell their IDs on the secondary market.
