Tribe Nine Pre-registration Opens: Danganronpa Creator's Baseball RPG

Tribe Nine, a new mobile ARPG from Danganronpa creators Rui Komatsuzaki and Kazutaka Kodaka, is now accepting pre-registrations for Android and iOS! Pre-register to receive an exclusive skin and other rewards.

Komatsuzaki's distinctive art and Kodaka's design talents, hallmarks of the PSP visual novel and detective thriller Danganronpa, are reunited in this exciting new project. Set in a dystopian Neo-Tokyo in 20XX, Tribe Nine casts players as teenagers competing in the deadly Extreme Games orchestrated by the enigmatic Zero.

Pre-registration rewards include a Parallel Cypher / Y skin for Koishi Kohinata. The game blends thrilling action with a retro aesthetic, featuring retro-style sprite overworld exploration and full 3D battles. Players can experiment with equipment and Tension Cards to create unique character builds.

While Danganronpa may be considered somewhat dated now, its unique art style and murder-mystery gameplay were groundbreaking for the PSP. Tribe Nine's distinctive visuals certainly stand out, but the mobile market is saturated with 3D turn-based battlers. To succeed, it needs a compelling hook to differentiate itself.
