The informal competition among gacha games is intensifying, with recent financial data from February 2025 showing a dip in revenue for some of the top titles. Gacha game enthusiasts are keenly observing the financial trends within the genre. New statistics for February 2025 have shed light on the performance of these popular games.

miHoYo, also known as HoYoverse, which is behind three major projects, saw a revenue decline across the board during this period. Honkai Star Rail, securing the fourth position, saw its revenue fall from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, ranking sixth, experienced a significant drop from over $99 million to $26.3 million, following a previous spike attributed to the Mavuika banner event. Zenless Zone Zero, which took eighth place, saw a decrease from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, fans can look forward to potential revenue increases with upcoming updates that will introduce new characters in Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Star Rail.

In February 2025, the top-performing gacha game was Pokemon TCG Pocket, generating a substantial $79 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace came in second with $49.5 million, closely followed by Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle in third place with $47 million.
