What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?

This season introduces a brand-new snowy tundra environment. Brave icy winds, navigate knee-deep snow, and face a host of challenging monsters. New additions include Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the formidable Tigrex. Returning favorites like Barioth and smaller monsters such as Wulg and Cortos also appear. Tigrex will be a prominent foe in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests within Season 4's story chapters. Finish the prologue to gain access to the tundra.

A powerful new weapon joins the arsenal: the Switch Axe. This versatile weapon offers two distinct modes. Axe Mode delivers powerful, sweeping attacks, while Sword Mode unleashes a flurry of rapid strikes. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.

Customize your own Palico companion to aid in material gathering and monster scouting. Adjust fur color, facial features, and bestow a unique name upon your furry friend. AR enthusiasts can even take their custom Palico into the real world for memorable photos.

Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering, adding a cooperative element to the hunt. Send cheers to friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day (with a daily limit).
