Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Is Coming To Mobile This November!

Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices on November 4th, 2024! Console and mobile gamers can now enjoy this massive update, originally released on PC in March 2024.

What's New in Stardew Valley 1.6 Mobile?

This update significantly expands the Stardew Valley experience. Online multiplayer now supports up to eight players, doubling the previous limit. Team up with friends to farm, fish, and build together! Two exciting new fishing festivals – the Trout Derby and SquidFest – join the seasonal event lineup, alongside the Desert Festival.

Explore the new Meadowlands farm layout, ideal for livestock and fishing. Over 100 new NPC dialogues add depth to interactions with the town's beloved characters.

Discover a plethora of new items: a Big Chest (nearly double the capacity of a regular chest), a dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy furnace, and a bait maker for crafting specialized fish lures.

Customize your farm with new furniture styles and over 25 stylish new hats. Collect prize tickets from quests and festivals, then redeem them at a prize machine in Lewis's house.

After maxing your starter pet's friendship, you can now have multiple pets! These furry (or feathered) friends may even bring you gifts, and you can even put hats on them! Notice the NPCs sporting new winter attire.

A golden Joja parrot assists in locating those elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

Reasons for the Delay

The delay in releasing the 1.6 update for mobile and consoles allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC, identifying and resolving any potential bugs. Now, the update is ready for mobile players!
