Stalker 2: Unlock SEVA-D Armor
Armor suits in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl* are notoriously expensive, both to purchase and upgrade. However, savvy survivors can acquire the powerful SEVA-D suit completely free. This robust armor offers significant buffs, including crucial PSI protection, making it a worthwhile find. Here's how to obtain it.
How to Get the SEVA-D Armor in *Stalker 2*
The SEVA-D suit awaits atop a building within the Cage location, situated in the Cement Factory region of Stalker 2. You'll find this area north of the Cement Factory base and east of the Slag Heap base. The suit is located in an under-construction building requiring a challenging climb. Be warned: thin concrete beams and a PSI anomaly within the building pose significant hazards. Stock up on medkits and consider frequent quick saves to avoid frustrating restarts after falls.
Reaching the Top of the Cage Building
Navigating to the roof requires careful maneuvering. Here's a step-by-step guide:
- Ascend the initial concrete stairs to the first floor.
- Follow the right-hand path, traversing the narrow concrete beam to the opposite side. Locate and climb the stairs to the second floor.
- From the second floor, jump the gap and follow the narrow path to the right.
- Cross the beam and jump another gap to reach a rusted metal platform.
- Use the ladders and boxes to reach a narrow path leading upwards.
- Carefully cross the concrete path and the connecting beam to the right, reaching the center of the structure.
- Locate another concrete beam with a pole; cross it and jump to the platform on the right. Use the stairs to reach the third floor.
- Finally, jump the gap, crouch under the beam, and use the stairs to reach the roof.
Acquiring the SEVA-D Suit and its Stats
The SEVA-D suit resides in a blue stash at the roof's edge. Don't forget to grab the limited-edition energy drink and the PDA containing valuable resources under the table near the stash.
The suit boasts approximately 70% durability but can be easily repaired by any technician. Its significant PSI and radiation protection, combined with high physical protection, make it invaluable in combat. To exit safely, jump through the hole in the center of the roof; you'll land on a gravitational anomaly.
