Split Fiction will be the first Hazelight game with crossplay support

Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming world with its unique approach to cooperative play. Their innovative feature, where only one player needs to purchase the game for two to enjoy it together, remains a distinctive hallmark that sets them apart. While their earlier titles missed the mark on crossplay—a feature that seemed almost essential for their co-op focus—they've addressed this in their latest offering, Split Fiction.

Excitingly, Hazelight has confirmed that Split Fiction will support crossplay, ensuring that friends can connect and play regardless of the platform they're on. The beloved Friend’s Pass system returns, allowing one purchased copy to facilitate gameplay for two, although both players will need an EA account to participate.

To further engage the community, Hazelight has introduced a demo version of Split Fiction. This demo offers players a taste of the game's cooperative experience, and any progress made can be seamlessly transferred to the full game upon purchase.

Split Fiction aims to explore a range of settings while centering on the theme of profound yet simple human relationships. The game is slated for release on March 6 and will be available across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series platforms, promising an immersive and emotionally engaging experience for all players.
