Saros Revealed at State of Play February 2025
A 2026 Release
Housemarque unveiled Saros during February 2025's State of Play. This PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive is slated for release sometime in 2026. Building upon the exhilarating gameplay of their acclaimed title, Returnal, Saros introduces a new narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone, establishing a distinct new IP. While iterating on Returnal's compelling storytelling and mechanics, Saros introduces a system of permanent and evolving loadouts—weapons and suits—empowering players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
Unlike Returnal's ever-shifting roguelike biomes, Saros offers a different approach. Further gameplay details will be revealed later in 2025.
