The standout additions to *Rocket League* with Season 18 include the new arena, Futura Garden, and two exciting new car bodies: the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack and the Azura. The Daytona is instantly available upon purchasing the Season 18 premium Rocket Pass, utilizing the Dominus-style hitbox. The Azura, accessible at later tiers of the same Rocket Pass, features a Breakout-style hitbox. Both car bodies are cross-playable in *Fortnite* once unlocked. Additionally, a new sound cue has been introduced for when players miss goals, offering a satisfying ping as the ball narrowly misses the mark.
A variety of mutators are now available to modify game conditions in both Exhibition Mode and private matches, with several new mutators added and some existing ones tweaked. Players can also dive into Season-specific challenges and competitive matches, as well as participate in Season 18 tournaments with unique rewards. Any unspent points from Season 17 will be automatically converted into rewards.
On a technical note, Season 18 adjusts the center of mass for various car bodies and refines the game’s internal matchmaking processes within subregions. Numerous performance issues and bugs have been addressed, as outlined in the patch notes from Epic Games. For player safety and community integrity, a new voice reporting feature has been added, allowing players to report toxic behavior post-match in accordance with the game’s community rules.
And that’s everything to know about *Rocket League* Season 18.
