Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two and New Cosmetics

The second phase of Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event is live, bringing fresh cosmetic rewards to players. The in-game shop now boasts a new selection of Blastoise-themed goodies, including a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat.

This second event phase runs until January 22nd, while the event shop remains open until January 28th. Players aiming to collect all the event items should maintain regular logins. While items remain accessible until the 28th, event tickets cease distribution on the 22nd.

Following a busy holiday period filled with generous login bonuses, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and anticipate the next expansion, rumored for late January. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses are usable in future expansions has encouraged players to stockpile them.

The updated Blastoise Wonder Pick Event offers a renewed incentive for daily logins. The new cosmetic items provide a compelling reason to participate. Excess event tickets can be exchanged for up to 1,000 Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap of Rewards

The event's first part (January 6th onwards) introduced two promo cards – Squirtle and Charmander – featuring unique artwork but identical attacks to their standard counterparts. Rewards from the first part remain available, including a Blue-themed backdrop and a Blue and Blastoise cover. New missions, tied to Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire and Water-type cards, award Event Shop Tickets. The Bonus Pick also grants these tickets, facilitating item acquisition. Daily logins are crucial for completing all missions and collecting all promo cards, especially considering the rumored untradeability of these limited edition cards. All missions from both event parts are cumulative.
