Pokemon GO Reveals Tour Pass for Upcoming Unova Event

Pokémon GO Unveils New Tour Pass for Unova Event

Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! A new Tour Pass is launching alongside the highly anticipated Unova event, running from February 24th to March 9th. This pass offers exciting rewards and progression milestones.

The event, a key part of the annual Pokémon GO Tour celebrating a specific region, this year focuses on the Unova region (Generation 5). Expect Unova-themed Pokémon encounters in the wild, raids, and egg hatches. Previous GO Tours have featured Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2022), introducing shiny Pokémon and unique variants.

This year's Unova Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM local time, offers both free and deluxe options. Players earn Tour Points by completing daily tasks, catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs. These points unlock Minor and Major milestones, rewarding players with items like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants an encounter with a special Zorua. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6 PM.

A Deluxe Tour Pass, priced at $14.99 (or $19.99 for a version with 10 ranks unlocked), is also available on the Pokémon GO Webstore during the same period. This pass unlocks all rewards from the free and paid tracks, plus an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini and a new Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket transforms a friend into a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on the next trade before resetting the status. Deluxe Pass rewards, including the Lucky Trinket, also expire on March 9th at 6 PM.

The Unova GO Tour promises an unforgettable experience, featuring the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, echoing last year's Necrozma fusion. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via ticketed Masterwork Research. The Tour Pass adds another layer of excitement to this already anticipated event.
