All Pokémon Unite Ranks, Explained
*Pokémon Unite* boasts a total of six ranks, each with multiple classes that allow players to progress through sub-ranks before moving up. Starting Out
Your journey begins at the Beginner Rank, which includes three classes. To access ranked matches, you'll need to reach at least Trainer Level 6, achieve a Fair Play score of 80, and collect five Pokémon licenses. Once these criteria are met, you can jump into ranked matches and start your climb from the Beginner Rank.

Performance Points
Performance Points are your currency for progression in *Pokémon Unite*. You earn these points from each ranked match, with the amount varying from 5 to 15 points based on your performance, 10 points for good sportsmanship, another 10 for participation, and 10 to 50 points for winning streaks. Each rank has a cap on Performance Points; once you hit this cap, you'll earn 1 Diamond Point per match, which is crucial for advancing. Here are the Performance Point caps for each rank:
- Beginner Rank: 80 Points
- Great Rank: 120 Points
- Expert Rank: 200 Points
- Veteran Rank: 300 Points

Advancing and Advancement Rewards
Diamond Points are the key to moving up classes and ranks. You need four Diamond Points to upgrade your class, and once you reach the highest class in your current rank, you'll move to the first class of the next rank. You earn one Diamond Point for each ranked match victory and lose one for each loss. If your Performance Points are maxed out for your rank, you'll also earn one Diamond Point per match.
At the end of each season, *Pokémon Unite* rewards players with Aeos Tickets based on their rank, with higher ranks yielding more tickets. These tickets are used to purchase items and upgrades in the Aeos Emporium. Additionally, select ranks offer unique rewards that rotate with each season.
