Pokémon Go sees every Community Day Pokémon return for end-of-year Catch-a-thon
Missing out on top community events in Pokémon Go can be disheartening, especially when they offer the chance to catch rare Pokémon alongside friends. But if you've missed out this year, you're in luck! Niantic is set to debut an exclusive end-of-year Catch-a-thon event, giving you another opportunity to snag those exclusive rewards.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 21st, and Sunday, December 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. This event will feature special Pokémon, including the chance to encounter Shiny versions. Here's what you can expect each day:
- December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
- December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.
In the last ten minutes of each hour, you'll have the chance to encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. On top of that, you can earn 2x XP for catching Pokémon, 2x Stardust, and a plethora of other rewards during this limited-time event. With so much to do at this exclusive year-end event, you won't want to miss out. Head over to the official Pokémon Go site for all the details!
With major updates like the debut of Gigantamax and other key features, it's been a big year for Pokémon Go. So it's no surprise that Niantic is hosting one last major community event before the year ends. Even though it's close to the holidays, I know many dedicated fans won't be deterred by a few hours in the cold.
