PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Slashed to $99.99 for a Year, But Only for New or Expired Members

Sony is offering a significant PlayStation Plus discount in the US and select European countries for expired or new memberships. The promotion, valid until February 24th, offers both Extra and Premium tiers at the same price: $99.99 for a full year.

Given that Premium includes all Extra features plus classic games, game trials, and cloud streaming, Premium is the better value at this price point. However, remember to disable auto-renewal to avoid higher charges after the discount period ends. This offer is unavailable to current subscribers and cannot be stacked with existing plans. Cancelling your current membership before the offer ends won't make you eligible either.

• PS Plus Premium: 12-month subscription for $99.99 (normally $159.99, 37% discount)
• PS Plus Extra: 12-month subscription for $99.99 (normally $134.99, 25% discount)

Importantly, this discount excludes the UK and other regions, and the Essential tier is not included. While Essential members can upgrade at a prorated rate, there's no standalone discount for 12-month Essential subscriptions.

This deal coincides with the announcement of February's PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions, including titles like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Top Spin 2K25, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 1. Premium members also gain access to classic games such as Patapon 3 and Dropship: United Peace Force.
