The *Sims 4*'s Blast from the Past event has players on a treasure hunt once again! This time, the quest for rewards leads to Plathinum and Ironyum. Luckily, finding these resources is easier than you might think.

For those tackling the "Inventing the Past" quests (following "Echoes of Time"), you'll need Plathinum and Ironyum for Emit. Unlike previous hunts, this one's straightforward.

Finding Plathinum and Ironyum is identical to finding the Special Time Capsule. Simply locate an area with rocks and dirt mounds (parks are ideal). Pause the game to carefully scan your surroundings. Once spotted, dig! It might take a few attempts, but you'll eventually unearth both resources, unlocking the Time Travel Component quest.

If rocks and mounds are scarce, speed up time to encourage their faster generation. However, avoid prolonged time acceleration to prevent missing your digging opportunity.
