"Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage Hits Mobile Soon"

Among the most eagerly awaited releases I discussed last year, one that stands out is the upcoming Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage. The original Pirates Outlaws captivated fans with its stylish, swashbuckling roguelike deckbuilding experience when the genre was still burgeoning. Now, its sequel is set to launch in the third quarter of this year!

This thrilling seaquel returns you to the adventurous waters of New Elysia, where you'll embark on another swashbuckling journey. Start your voyage by selecting a character, a class ability, and a starting deck, and set sail for high-seas adventure!

In Pirates Outlaws 2, you'll have the option to choose from multiple characters, each with seven class options, allowing you to tailor your deck to your preferred playstyle. You can also recruit an animal companion to enhance the strategic depth of your battles. With an enhanced turn-based combat system, a new card evolution tree, and more, you'll have a plethora of tools to dominate the seas!

Run out the guns—Pirates Outlaws 2 promises to be a significantly expanded sequel, offering the freedom to explore back and forth across the map. It introduces even more permutations and combinations of cards and characters. For those fortunate enough to be on PC, an upcoming Steam demo will be your first opportunity to get your hands on Pirates Outlaws 2!

My only reservation stems from the animations seen in the reveal trailer, which appeared somewhat static. While fully animating these illustrations can be challenging, I'm hopeful that the final release will feature more dynamic effects when it launches on mobile later this year.
