The game features three lock-related puzzles in Tape 1. If you miss one, the Scene Selection menu (and Collectible Mode) allows you to revisit without impacting story progress.

2. Cabin Padlock (Scene 13: Cabin in the Woods)

This padlock uses symbols as its code. The Old Sheet provides visual clues. The symbols are: (1) given, (2) a crescent moon in the attic, (3) a leaf on the bottom of a can in the kitchen, and (4) a star revealed behind a bear trap.

3. Blue Spruce Bar Gate Padlock (Scene 24: Riot Grrrls)

This lock uses a sequence of directional arrows. The solution is a slip of paper found inside Corey's pager in his bike bag.
