Merge Game Plants Millions of Trees

TreesPlease Games concluded 2024 with a remarkable achievement. Their merge game, Longleaf Valley, surpassed expectations, resulting in the planting of over two million real trees thanks to player participation.

Players' virtual tree planting in Longleaf Valley directly translates to real-world reforestation efforts globally, doubling the number of trees planted compared to 2023, a feat accomplished in partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project. The game itself also saw a doubling of downloads in 2024.

TreesPlease Games, established in 2019 with a mission to create nature-preserving and climate-change-combating games, achieved a significant milestone with Longleaf Valley, their first mobile title. The game's success was recognized with the Best Purpose-Driven Game award at the Playing for the Planet Awards in November 2024. To celebrate this achievement, TreesPlease Games is hosting a special in-game event.

Longleaf Valley's Celebration: The Treellionaire Cup and Veganuary

The Treellionaire Cup competition challenges players to climb the leaderboard and earn bonus tree tokens. Simultaneously, a Veganuary campaign is launching in January 2025, offering adorable baby animal rewards and in-game content inspired by the official Veganuary Cookbook. This campaign subtly promotes a more environmentally conscious diet by highlighting the link between animal agriculture and deforestation.
