Patch 8: A Feature-Packed Finale

Considered one of the final major updates before Larian concludes their work on Faerûn, Patch 8 promises significant additions. This includes platform cross-play, over 12 new subclasses (such as Death Domain Cleric, Path of Giants Barbarian, and Arcane Archer Fighter), and the long-awaited Photo Mode.

Unleash Your Inner Photographer with Photo Mode

A detailed video preview showcases the extensive customization options within the new Photo Mode. Larian aims to empower players to fully utilize its features from the outset.

Photo Mode is accessible in various situations – during exploration, combat, and even in multiplayer (for the host). Players can meticulously pose companions and characters, adding extra elements for creative shots. A free-moving camera allows for precise angle adjustments. Post-processing effects, stickers, and frames further enhance image customization. Note that pose manipulation is restricted during dialogues and cutscenes, though post-processing remains available.

Further tutorials and tips will be released to help players maximize the Photo Mode's creative potential.
