Marvel Snap’s latest update is inspired by Captain America: Brave New World
The latest Marvel Snap season, Legacy, is here, spotlighting Sam Wilson's ascension as Captain America! This season introduces exciting new gameplay mechanics with the addition of Sam Wilson, a powerful new character whose card ability adds Cap's Shield to a random location at the start of each match. This Shield, un-destroyable and movable, boosts Sam's power by +2 whenever it resides in his location, adding a strategic layer to your matches.
Joining Sam Wilson are several other exciting new characters throughout February, expanding the roster significantly. Joaquín Torres arrives February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on the 11th. Redwing joins the fray on the 18th, and finally, Diamondback rounds out the month on the 25th. These Series 5 cards will be available through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, offering various paths to unlock them.
This season also features two brand-new locations to master. The Smithsonian Museum rewards Ongoing abilities with an extra +1 Power per card, while Madripoor boosts the highest-cost card at that location by +2 Power after each turn. These additions encourage diverse deck-building strategies, adding fresh challenges and exciting possibilities.
For those who enjoy collecting, February's update delivers two new albums brimming with avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album, dropping February 4th, features rewards such as a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. The Lemon Fashion album, arriving February 25th, offers exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
