Leaked Marvel Rivals game files reveal upcoming PvE content featuring a boss battle against a kraken. Dataminer X0X_Leaks discovered the kraken model, which currently possesses animations but lacks high-resolution textures. X0X_Leaks demonstrated the kraken's potential in-game size using existing game parameters.

Separately, Marvel Rivals announced a major Spring Festival event launching this Thursday. This event introduces a unique 3v3 game mode, "Clash of Dancing Lions," where teams compete to score a ball. The mode bears a striking resemblance to Overwatch's Lucioball, and by extension, Rocket League.

This similarity is notable given Marvel Rivals' apparent attempt to establish its own identity distinct from Overwatch. While the event mode shares similarities with Overwatch's inaugural special mode, the Marvel Rivals version incorporates a distinct Chinese cultural theme, contrasting with Overwatch's Olympic Games aesthetic.
