Kabam introduces Isophyne, a brand-new original character, to Marvel Contest of Champions. Her striking design evokes elements reminiscent of the film Avatar, enhanced with copper-toned metallic accents.

Isophyne's Unique Abilities in Marvel Contest of Champions

Isophyne enters the arena with a revolutionary combat style. Unlike traditional characters who build power for special attacks, Isophyne utilizes a "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. This allows for unprecedented flexibility, enabling her to chain together special attacks in any order she chooses. Instead of the usual sequential Special 1, 2, 3 pattern, she can unleash multiple Special 1s consecutively, creating unpredictable and adaptable strategies.

Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery. She's connected to the Founders, a secretive group within the game's lore, whose story will unfold in 2025.
