Best Strategist Characters in Marvel Rivals
Rank | Hero |
---|---|
S | Mantis and Luna Snow |
A | Adam Warlock and Cloak & Dagger |
B | Jeff the Land Shark, Loki, and Rocket Raccoon |
S Tier
Mantis excels as a healer, boosting ally damage by consuming orbs (which regenerate automatically; headshots provide instant recovery). While fragile, her ease of use and potent healing make her a top choice for both beginners and veterans.
Luna Snow, another S-tier pick, offers versatile healing and damage. Her Ice Art ability enhances both, while her Ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, provides AoE healing or damage depending on positioning. Her straightforward mechanics make her accessible to new players. Her damage output, however, remains secondary to her support role.
A Tier
Adam Warlock's standout ability is his multi-teammate revive via Quantum Zone, granting temporary invincibility. Combined with his Avatar Life Stream healing and Soul Bond damage sharing/heal-over-time, he provides exceptional survivability.
Cloak & Dagger offers a blend of healing and damage. Cloak's attacks can heal allies or damage enemies, while Dagger focuses on damage and applying Vulnerability debuffs. Dark Teleportation boosts ally movement speed and provides invisibility.
B Tier
Jeff the Land Shark, while popular, lacks the robust healing of higher-tier characters, struggling in extended fights. His simplicity makes him beginner-friendly, but his limited kit pales in comparison to others.
Loki's effectiveness hinges on player skill. His healing and decoy summoning require strategic positioning, while his Ultimate allows him to shapeshift into any hero for 15 seconds.
Rocket Raccoon prioritizes utility and damage over pure healing. His Respawn Machine revives allies, but his focus leans towards damage dealing, making him a hybrid DPS/support. His small size makes him a vulnerable target.
Ultimately, the best support character depends on individual playstyle and enjoyment. This tier list serves as a guide, but personal preference should be the deciding factor.
Marvel Rivals is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
