Hearthstone Is Dropping Its Biggest Mini-Set with Heroes of StarCraft

Hearthstone's upcoming The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft is poised to shake things up. This expansion, launching January 21st, introduces iconic StarCraft factions to the Hearthstone universe, bringing with it a wave of quests and challenges.

The Largest Mini-Set Yet!

Breaking the usual 38-card mold, this Mini-Set boasts a massive 49 cards! This includes an impressive lineup: 4 Legendary, 1 Epic, 20 Rare, and 24 Common cards. This unprecedented size is matched by its diversity.

Each StarCraft faction contributes 5 multi-class cards, with the standout neutral card, Grunty, taking center stage.

Players can acquire the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set by opening The Great Dark Beyond Hearthstone packs or purchasing the complete 94-card set directly (2500 Gold for the standard version, 12,000 Gold for the all-Golden version).

StarCraft Factions Take the Spotlight

  • Zerg: Overwhelm your opponents with swarming tactics. This faction, led by Sarah Kerrigan, features Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock cards, perfect for players who enjoy generating token armies.

  • Protoss: Employ powerful, high-cost cards that become progressively cheaper, leading to explosive turns. High Templar Artanis leads this faction, comprised of Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue cards.

  • Terran: Harness Starship synergies to unleash multiple Starships per game, culminating in the impressive Battlecruiser. This card features updated art and the Mech minion type. Owning a Signature Starship will unlock a Signature-art Battlecruiser.
