Gold Armor is a game-changer in Call of Duty Zombies, offering a significant upgrade over standard armor. This guide details how to obtain the Gold Armor Vest in Black Ops 6 on The Tomb map.

The Power of Gold Armor

First introduced in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, Gold Armor automatically regenerates, eliminating the constant need for armor plating. This feature significantly improves resource management and survivability, especially against formidable enemies like Amalgams. While manual plating remains an option, the self-repairing aspect is invaluable.

Obtaining the Gold Armor Vest: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Locate Statue Heads: Find two statue heads within the Dark Aether Nexus. These are hidden inside destructible wooden boxes. Melee attack the boxes to reveal the heads.

   

   • One box is near a palm tree in a corner of the Dark Aether Nexus, close to the green Gateway portal.
   • The second is easily visible near the Juggernog Perk Machine on the same raised platform.

2. Repair Roman Statues: Take the statue heads to the Dig Site. Place each head on a ruined Roman statue.

   • One statue is near the Ammo Cache, by the exit to the Neolithic Catacombs.
   • The other is further into the Dig Site, near the Roman Mausoleum (Pack-a-Punch area).

3. Complete the Blood Sacrifice: Interacting with the repaired statues initiates a Blood Sacrifice. This involves eliminating waves of high-value target (HVT) enemies (Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts). The challenge is significantly harder due to 1 HP and inability to heal or use support abilities during the sacrifice.

   

   • Solo Strategy: Use a Mutant Injection to transform into a Mangler for invincibility during the sacrifice.
   • Co-op Strategy: One player activates the sacrifice while another uses a Chopper Gunner from outside the Dig Site to eliminate the HVTs.

4. Claim Your Reward: After completing two Blood Sacrifices, the Gold Armor Vest becomes available for purchase at the Roman Mausoleum's Wall Buy.

Mastering the Challenge

Successfully completing the Blood Sacrifice requires preparation. Equip a Tier 3 vest and carry ample armor plates before initiating the challenge. Strategic positioning and teamwork (in co-op) are key to success.
